Dog barking is a very natural thing. They use this action to communicate with human. However, the barking turns into a big problem when the dogs use it excessively. This article will show you some usual reasons that cause the dogs to create irritating barking so that you are able to find out the reason behind the barking of your dog.

Do you provide enough physical demands of the dog, for instance, do you give him enough food water that he needs? This is one of the common reasons for irritating barking behavior.

Boredom is another cause of unwanted barking from a dog. Some dogs require to have enough exercise every single day. Besides, if you let the dog in the yard and do not make contact with him, it is likely that he will bark loudly and endlessly due to boredom.

Do you leave him alone at home and go to the office? This is also a primary reason for nuisance barking.

Some dogs use their barking excessively because they are overprotective their owners. These dogs usually are protective of theirs owners naturally.

Another cause for endless barking is the dog may have a problem about health. So, before you use any method of controlling barking, you need to make sure your lovely pet does not suffer from health issues. It is cruel to apply any kind of training on a dog when he is being sick.

Those are common issues for excessive barking. In order to deal with this bad behavior, you are able to choose to use a dog bark control aid such as anti bark collar. Using this kind of product means that you will punish the dog so it is recommended that you should not use the collar when the cause of barking is fear or separation anxiety. In addition, you should also take traditional training methods into consideration in order to put an end to the pet’s irritating barking.

In case you have tested out other conventional training ways with no good result, it is clearly that you should go for a dog bark control collar. The problem is which kind of collar should you choose for your pet?

Today, there are 3 kinds of anti bark collars.

The first one is spray bark collars (also called citronella collars). They use natural oil to control excessive barking since most of the dogs feel uncomfortable with this kind of smell. These collars are considered human way to control barking as they use natural material which does not affect human as well as dog health.

The next one is sound collars. These collars use high-pitched sound to disturb the dog when he is barking. One advantage of this collar is it can control a dog which is not yours because it is able to release sound within a radius of 50 metres or so. This means you can use this device for stopping nuisance barking from a neighbor’s dog easily.

The last one is shock collars (also called e-collars). They use static shock to cause the dog to stop barking. This kind of device should be used only on hard dogs. They can hurt the dog at some level of shock correction. So, you should use it properly and carefully.

Owning a dog would have to be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life. It’s no secret that owners take great pride in their pets, especially when the dog is disciplined and well-behaved. Unfortunately, not all canines are the same. If your pooch proves to be a handful despite all the obedience training, then the secrets to dog training will teach you how to properly train your pet.

Having the Best Dog Training Advice is Important If You Want A Well Trained Dog.

Remember that dogs behave differently and respond to commands in a certain way. They also think differently; and even though we believe we understand our dog and take the nuances as natural, most of the time this is probably not the case. This guide will reveal the right way of obedience training that is sure to tame any unruly pet, big or small.

Most dogs have unusual behaviors and we generally regard them as natural canine behavior. But biting, pulling, chewing cables and furniture, poor toilet behavior, and excessive barking are all signs of aggression and should be corrected as early as possible. The good thing about this system is that it does not matter if your pet is a puppy or an adult. The tips and tricks will work on any breed, age and size of dog.

It would be great if your pooch responds to every command you give, and the secrets to dog training will teach you how to do it the proper way. All bad habits would be put to a stop and you will have a happier, healthier pet. With the secrets to dog training, it is indeed possible to teach your old dog new tricks.

Among dog breeds, the Golden Retriever is one of the easiest to train and to take care of. They are usually known for their obedience and friendly temperament which makes them are popular as family pets, therapy and service dogs. They manifest different talents which include competitive obedience, narcotic detection, agility, and performing and show tricks.

Golden Retriever puppies are the perfect pets for anyone who enjoys an affectionate and mild tempered dog for a companion. They settle well into family life if given the proper training and attention. Though potential pet owners should be aware that without the proper obedience and housebreaking training, your golden retriever puppy can prove to be more of a problem than being fun. You have to start them young; you should come up with a Golden Retriever Puppy training plan as soon as you have those adorable puppies in your home.Here are a few tips in training your adorable furry pets.

Socialization

* Pet owners have to make sure that their golden retrievers meet and mingle with as many people as possible during their first four months. It has been known that a Golden retriever suffers from separation anxiety when frequently left alone, anxiety can manifest in excessive barking and destructiveness.
* Going on trips, visiting friends who own pets, and walking along busy streets should be integral of your dog’s education. These positive experiences will allow your puppy to be at ease with human presence and reduce the probability of any future behavior problems.House-training
* Housebreak your golden retriever as early as possible by observing and becoming acquainted with your puppy’s body language such sniffing the floor.
* If your puppy stays mainly inside the house, take your puppy outside every 45 minutes or so after meals as they tend to have toilet needs around this time.
* Give praises and rewards so that your dog so that it will be able to associate new activities as positive experiences.
Obedience- training
* If your dog stays inside your house most of the time, it is important start your golden retriever training inside the home where your dog stays. They will tend to learn faster when he/she is in a familiar location.
* Train your golden retriever in short but frequent sessions. Dogs usually have a short attention span and will get easily distracted or bored.
* Lastly, do not forget to end each training session with a positive note. This will make your dog to look forward to the next training session.

google_ad_slot = "7594500533";
google_ad_width = 336;
google_ad_height = 280;
//-->

It is important to begin a basic golden retriever training the moment your dog is bought home especially if he is still a puppy, as they say it is hard to teach old dogs new tricks. Good early habits almost usually last and result in a well mannered and perfectly trained golden retriever in the future.

Remember to have fun with your Golden Retriever training and it is guaranteed that you will have very few stressful moments in sharing a home with a fully housebroken, happy and obedient dog.

The choice in dog training collars on the market today is huge, so many choices offering the ultimate cure that times have never been harder for someone trying to choose the right product to suit their dog.

Dogs are unique but suffer from a variety of behavioural issues, fortunately these can be grouped into a few common misdemeanours such as jumping up , excessive barking, recall problems etc. As a company that offers free specialist advice and help with choosing the right dog collar, we talk to hundreds of people who have an issue that they would like to resolve.

Some of these customers have spent many hundreds of pounds on conventional training lessons or with animal behaviourists to no avail, many of these people are desperate to find a solution as they fear they could lose their dog if these problems are not addressed. Unfortunately the market is littered with many cheap foreign imports that do not conform to UK legislation and carry no warranty or guarantees. To prove this point just go onto Ebay and check out the number of remote dog training collars that are sold for a few pounds, the majority of which do not conform.

Every day we get calls from people that have purchased a cheap alternative and now regret this move, buying a quality dog training collar will mean dipping deeper into your pockets but if you get it right you can have peace of mind, a product that has a 2-3 year warranty and a product that conforms to UK legislation. It is also important to point out that some of these cheap imported dog training collars are unfair to use on your dog as the levels of correction are set unreasonably high. I recently spoke to a customer who had purchased a collar with 100 levels of correction and no beep tone or warning button on the device. This is ridiculous as the dog wouldn’t have any opportunity to learn.

At Easy Animal we researched all the collars available before deciding which collars to sell, we extensively tested these remote dog collars both on ourselves and also on dogs, as a company we only wanted to be associated with the brands of dog training collars that were fair, reliable, effective and legal. We now have what we consider to be the best brands available, having turned down quite a few companies that wanted us to sell their range.

Firstly all the brands that we sell are RoHS approved which they must be to meet current UK legislation, to meet this criteria costs manufacturers a lot more to develop the products in line with this criteria hence most cheaper collars will almost certainly not be RoHS approved.

To ensure that customer’s expectations are met from a performance point of view, all the brands we sell have a 2 year warranty at minimum and some have a 3 year warranty. This is important as these are electronic products often working in difficult terrains and weather conditions, and of course even the best products can and do malfunction. Having a reliable remote training collar is essential if your dog is chasing a scent and hurtling towards a busy main road!

When you are training a dog, consistency and continuity is of paramount importance, there is little point buying a training collar for it to fail and then interrupt all the good work you have put in. The warranty gives you total peace of mind that very quickly you can have a new trainer delivered promptly to maintain your training programme with your dog.

At Easy Animal we want you to choose the right collar; we want you to be happy with your purchase so we offer you totally free advice and help in buying the right dog training collar. We believe that all dogs are unique and every situation is different, also it is worth pointing out that what works on one dog will be totally the wrong product for the next dog. We sell collars to dog trainers, and we talk daily to dog trainers about training methods so we feel that we have the experience and knowledge to be able to point you in the right direction.

google_ad_slot = "7594500533";

//-->

So which are the best collars? These fall generally into two main categories spray and static pulse collars and we have had good success with both types, spray collars of which there are only a few choices generally don’t operate any further than relatively close range 100-300m. Spray training collars can be a little more problematic as the process of having a spray nozzle means that technically it becomes an issue to keep this clean, also the seals around the spray can dry out so they are prone to more problems than static ones. Having said that they have huge support from the dog world and can often be seen on dog training programmes on television like ‘ Dog Borstal’.

Static dog training collars can be seen as more controversial but are widely recognised within dog training circles as more effective than spray trainers. Whilst this is a generalisation, it is far to say that these static pulse collars create much discussion about whether they are harmful, unfair or cruel. When I hear people making these claims I always point out that when these are used in the correct manner they can be used extremely effectively, but of course the responsibility is very much in the hands of the person holding the remote control. As an example a car driven erratically and dangerously by one person can equally be driven carefully and safely by the majority. We sell many of these static pulse remote collars for owners of deaf dogs for recall issues and on a low setting the dog only experiences something similar to someone tapping him on the neck.

At Easy Animal we always advise customers to use the static collars in a measured way starting off by setting the level very low and gradually increasing the levels until by observing the dog you can tell that they are getting a mild sensation. This level of static is very low and in fact in most cases just has to be at a level to interrupt the dogs trail of thought. Obviously for more wilful and stubborn dogs the settings may well be set on a higher level. Static collars with small increments and a gentle increase over a number of levels is certainly better than large increments. Many of the collars we sell have a nick button or short stimulus together with a button for longer levels of stimulus, ALL the collars we sell however have a beep tone which is fundamental to the training process as it is used as a warning signal to the dog and gives the dog an opportunity to respond, it is this important element on a training collar that allows the dog to learn and become trained. Please never buy a collar unless it has this function.

The brands that Easy Animal sell and have total faith in are Canicom, PetSafe, Innotek and Sportdog. All these brands sell good quality training collars, in future articles we will go into more detail and start to give you a totally independent view on all these collars explaining in detail the pros and cons of each collar.
