🐶 2 INGREDIENT DIY DOG TREATS 🐶

What you need:

  • Parchment Paper
  • Rolling Pin
  • 2 Cups of 100% Organic Whole Wheat Flower
  • 2 – 4 Ounce Jars of Baby Food
  • Cookie Cutter
  • Bowl
  • 1 Cup Measuring Cup
  • Let’s get started on these dog treats. Pour two cups of 100% Organic Whole Wheat Flower into a bowl. Next add the 2 jars of baby food. I use the green beans or the carrots but you can use whatever ones you want. Make sure that what you use is safe for the dog. You want to do your research before you choose a certain baby food. Because you don’t know what is safe for them or not. I do know these ones, the carrots and the green beans, are good for dogs.

    Mix It Up

Now you stir your mixture to get a good consistency. Knead it almost like you’re making dough for sugar cookies. That’s the consistency you’re trying to get so you can roll it out, knead it and roll it out. You can use your hands or a spatula to get it ready to take it out of the bowl.

    Create Your Treats

Next just kind of squeeze it and work it into a little ball. Now take some flour and put it on the counter top or table just so it doesn’t stick when you cut them out. So now take little pieces off of the ball and use the rolling pin to flatten them. Then just use a cookie cutter to cut out your treats. I like a small size because they’re perfect dog treat size. You can use any kind of cookie cutter that you want for your treats and do anything pretty much. So whatever your heart desires.

    Time To Bake

Now put them all on a cookie sheet here lined with the parchment paper. Put them in the oven on 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye on them so you can make sure that they don’t burn. Sometimes I don’t even go up to the 20 minutes. I’ll have about a minute left and they are done. It really depends on their size and how your oven cooks. So just keep an eye on them.

    Cool and Serve

Once they are all done you will just have to wait for them to cool. You don’t want them to be too hot for the dogs. My dogs dance around waiting for them to come out of the oven but I want to make sure they’re nice and cool for them. Once they cool down they should have a nice soft consistency to them.

These treats are only good for about two weeks because there is baby food in them. I usually keep them in a cookie jar (treat jar) and they are good for about two weeks and then you have to throw them out. But they’re so easy to make you can make another batch.

So definitely try this recipe out and thank you so much for reading my post. If you liked this post please give me thumbs up, leave me a comment or a vote. Thanks a million for reading my post and I’ll catch you wonderful people later!!
